Isabelle Engman is a Los Angeles based composer for films, video games, TV and other multimedia. She grew up in Sweden and blends her minimalistic Scandinavian sound with orchestral and modern scoring. She experiments and creates her own sounds whenever she gets the opportunity and works a lot in the area of sound-music design as well. Isabelle has been rewarded multiple awards and grants for her music developments such as the Anders-Zorn-fellow grant (Sweden-America Foundation). She has also received high recommendations from among others Garry Schyman, the internationally successful game composer. Isabelle has been featured through SKAP, the prestigious and largest organisation in Sweden for Composers and Lyricists as well in the top online music magazine Studio, with several articles and in depth advice on how to work at a top level.
She most recently scored the full-length feature and folk horror film Madres (airing on Amazon this upcoming Halloween), The Goldfish directed by Ashley Brim (Homeland), Stockholm Bloodbath produced by the Swedish Television (SVT) and jingle station music for ABC10. Among her work you can also find the TV Pilot Sterling (2019) and Bebé (2017) in collaboration with HBO Access/director Ryan Zaragoza, airing now on HBO. She co-composed the music for the animated feature film Cinderella and the Secret Prince directed by Lynne Southerland (Mulan II). Previous clients of her include Microsoft, HBO and Sony Pictures.
