BIO
Isabelle Engman is an award-winning Los Angeles based composer blending her minimalistic Scandinavian sound with orchestral and modern scoring. She experiments and creates her own sounds whenever she gets the opportunity and works a lot in the area of sound-music design. Isabelle has received multiple awards and grants such as the Anders-Zorn-fellow grant (Sweden-America Foundation).
Most recently she co-scored the full-length Blumhouse feature film Madres (airing on Amazon Prime), the feature documentary Only In Theatres about the art house cinema chain Laemmle Theatres directed by Raphael Sbarge, The Goldfish directed by Ashley Brim (Homeland), Stockholm Bloodbath produced by the Swedish Television (SVT) and jingle station music for ABC10. Among her work you can also find the TV Pilot Sterling premiering at SXSW (2019) and Bebé (2017) in collaboration with HBO Access/director Ryan Zaragoza, airing now on HBO. She co-composed the music for the animated feature film Cinderella and the Secret Prince directed by Lynne Southerland (Mulan II). Previous clients of her include Microsoft, HBO and Sony Pictures.
