Isabelle Engman is a Los Angeles based composer for films, video games, TV, commercials and other multimedia. She blends classic Hollywood orchestral music with modern scoring along with her Scandinavian sensibilities. Originating from Sweden, where she has been rewarded multiple awards and grants for her music developments such as the Anders-Zorn-fellow grant (Sweden-America Foundation). She has also received high recommendations from among others Garry Schyman, the international successful game composer (Bioshock, Shadows of Mordor). Isabelle has been featured through SKAP, the prestigious and largest organisation in Sweden for Composers and Lyricists. As well in the top online music magazine Studio, with several articles and in depth advices on how to work at a top level.
Previous clients of her include Microsoft, HBO, Sony Pictures and ABC. She has scored the TV Pilot Sterling (2019) and Bebé (2017) in collaboration with director Ryan Zaragoza, airing now on HBO. She co-composed the music for the animated feature film Cinderella and the Secret Prince, directed by Lynne Southerland (Mulan II).
Her most recent projects include an interactive Sci-Fi series in collaboration with Sony Pictures/Eko Media, a TV Documentary about Stockholm Bloodbath airing this Christmas and customized TV station music for ABC10, Los Angeles.
Other credits include music and sound design for the short film An Act of Terror (directed by Ashley Brim, producer behind Homeland) and Zombies! For Xbox Fitness (Microsoft).
